Interesting Episodes From His Life

      Some interesting true memories from Hacı Bayram-ı Veli’s life  reached to us. Well-known memory is  conquesting of İstanbul as given above.

     The other one is his meeting with his student Aksemseddin (who was a proxy of Hacı Bayram-ı Veli in sufism after his death and who will be a teacher of Sultan Mehmet the second who is the  conqueror of İstanbul at 1453. )

     When Aksemseddin was a professor at university, he heard Hacı Bayram-ı Veli and came to Ankara to be his student in Sufism, learn more of Islam in his sect.

     When he came, he heard that Hacı Bayram-ı Veli’s visits to the shopkeepers ( for taking donations of rich people for poor people), and blamed  him for taking money from the  people  without asking its reason .( Reason is written at his life.)

     Then he thought that  his visit to Ankara was wasting time. He decided to go to another Sufi in Syria. At his trip one night he saw a dream like that;

           There was a big chain on his neck and end of the chain is on Hacı Bayram-ı Veli’s hands, he  is pulling this chain to himself...

     After this dream Aksemseddin thought that he made a mistake by leaving Ankara, and went back to Ankara to meet with Hacı Bayram-ı Veli again.

     When he arrived Ankara, Hacı Bayram-ı Veli was at the arable field working with his students. Aksemseddin went there but no one welcomes him.  He began to work with other students at the field. At the lunch time Hacı Bayram-ı Veli and his students prayed ,ate, rested but again no one welcomed him. Aksemseddin had a great sorrow from his mistake. At last  Hacı Bayram-ı Veli called him  with a smiling face  and said ;

     - We host a guest like that who came to us by chain force..
